I yelled as i got the second of my two shots, at Oliver's two month appointment. Turns out not only did he have to get 3 shots but Sara and I also got to join in the fun. I getting two (flu and H1N1) Sara getting the h1N1. We voted and because its now two to one in our household Sara had to go first, but by now getting poked with a needle is second nature for her. Oliver did pretty good when we first arrived. He started very chatty coooing and smiling. Then they weighed and measured him. Again still doing reasonably well. Then, there are 3 shots and one oral. We started with the oral shot which he did not like at all. Started fussing as soon as it hit the back of his throat. Then the shots, the screams, oh the screams as the nurse poked him three times. (Funny that the doctors always have the nurses do those kinds of things. "Hi, i'm the nice doctor, everything looks good. My nurse will be in to do the dirty work.") Actually after it was all said and done Oliver setteled pretty easily in his mom's arms ate a bottle and fell asleep for the car ride to Target then Home.
