Paint and PB&J's

I am currently watching Patrick put some green paint on the walls...we are trying to be creative and have a light and dark green. At first when I saw it on the walls I thought it looked terrible...it looks better now that it has dried. If we feel really ambitious, we are thinking about putting up some safari animals on the walls. So all in all, the baby room is finally coming along.

Now for a subject that I love....food. For the past month, we have had to have watermelon in the house. I can not get enough. Yum! And for some odd reason, my cravings have turn towards Patrick's usual snack.....peanut butter and jelly. Not just any jelly either, it has to mom's homemade jelly. Now that is a sandwich.

At my last appointment I had to do the glucose testing for gestational diabetes. A couple days later, they called me back to tell me I didn't pass. So I had to go back a couple days later, I couldn't eat anything since midnight the night before and sit in the lab for three and a half hours, getting poked in the arm 4 times! I was there from 9-12:30...without eating. An Arby's roast beef sandwich has never tasted so good. Luckily, I passed this test. Woo-hoo.
